| Cohaere, Winners of CIMA 2021! Cohaere Ensemble was founded in 2019 in Katowice by three students of the Harpsichord and Historical Performance Practice Department. In February 2021, they welcomed a 4th member. Monika Hartmann (cello), Marta Korbel (violin), Marta Gawlas (traverso), Natalia Olczak (harpsichord) have a fresh approach to historically informed performance but do not ignore the rules written down centuries ago.The Ensemble captivated the Jury by their playing of high quality mixed with an sensitive and lively interpretation where the four members play in harmony. They also stood out by their eclectic and out of the ordinary personalities. Cohaere raised money via a crowdfunding to finance their trip to France to participate to the competition.They tell you about their experience!  In 2022, Cohaere becomes part of EEEMERGING+, european program of accompaniment for young baroque ensembles. |
| June 2nd, Semi-finale Théâtre Graslin  For the first time, the semi-final of the Loire Valley International Early Music Competition will be hosted at the Graslin Theater in Nantes on June 2nd, 2023.The city of Nantes is a partner of CIMA. June 3rd, Finale Abbaye de Fontevraud  The beautiful Royal Abbey of Fontevraud opens its doors to the competition since 2019. For this 5th edition, the Abbey will host the final of the competition on June 3rd, 2023 !The council of Région Pays de la Loire is a partner of CIMA. June 5th, Laureates Concert Conservatoire d’Angers  The Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional d’Angers will be the closing venue of this 5th edition. On June 5th, the winners will be received for a gala concert.The City of Angers is a partner of CIMA. |
