Så här blir du medlem i KMS, Kungl. Musikhögskolans Studentkår (here is how you become a member in KMS, the Royal College of Music Student Union – scroll down for instructions in English):

1. Gå till betalsidan för medlemskap och fyll i dina uppgifter och välj typ av medlemskap: Heltidsstudent (75% studietakt och uppåt), Deltidsstudent (mindre än 75% studietakt) eller Utbytesstudent. Du kan även bli Stödmedlem om du inte är student men vill ge oss ekonomiskt stöd. Läs här om hur vi behandlar dina personuppgifter.
2. Betala för medlemskapet. Det kostar 200 kr för Heltidsstudent och 100 kr för Deltidsstudent och Utbytesstudent.
3. Se till att du är registrerad som student på KMH. Detta gör du själv i Ladok-systemet tidigast första dagen på terminen. Endast aktiva studenter på KMH har tillgång till våra medlemsförmåner.

Om du inte kan betala med kort, eller av annan anledning inte kan använda betalsidan för medlemskap, kan du också bli medlem genom att besöka kårens bokhandel Not & Bok vid studentpentryt i hus 4 och betala med kort eller kontant.

Som medlem i KMS får du tillgång till en uppgraderad variant av Mecenatkortet som du kan använda som bevis för att du är medlem och få tillgång till extra rabatter och förmåner! OBS: I början av terminen kan det dröja lite innan KMH skickar bekräftelse på din registrering till oss och ditt Mecenatkort uppgraderas.

Tips! Om du är ny student så kan du samla upp till 90 ködagar till en studentbostad hos SSSB redan innan du blir medlem. För att samla fler ködagar behöver du vara kårmedlem och registrerad i Ladok. Det är viktigt att att du registrerar samma e-postadress hos SSSB som hos KMS, annars ser de inte att du är medlem. Hör med personalen i Not & Bok (eller maila notbok.kms@kmh.se) i fall du glömt vilken e-postadress du har hos oss.

Here is how you become a member in KMS, the Royal College of Music Student Union:

1. Go to the payment page for memberships, fill in your information and choose type of membership: Full time student (75% of full time studies or above), Part time student (less than 75% of full time studies) or Exchange student. Read here about how we handle your personal information.
2. Pay for your membership. It costs 200 kr for Full time students and 100 kr for Part time Students or Exchange students.
3. Make sure you are registered as a student at KMH. You do this yourself in the Ladok-system no earlier than the first day of the semester. Only active students att KMH gain access to our membership benefits.

If you cannot pay by card, or for some other reason cannot use the payment page for memberships, you can also become a member through visiting KMS’ bookstore Not & Bok next to the student kitchen in house 4 and pay with cash or card.

As a member in KMS you gain access to an upgraded variant of the Mecenat card (Mecenatkortet) which you can use to prove that you are a member and gain access to additional benefits and discounts! NB: At the start of the semester it might take a few days before KMH sends us confirmation that you are a registered student so that we can upgrade your Mecenat card.

Tip! If you are a new student you can collect up to 90 queue days for a student apartment from SSSB before you become a member! To collect more days you need to become a member in the student union and be registered in Ladok. It is important that you register the same e-mail adress at SSSB and KMS, otherwise SSSB won’t be able to see that you are a member. Ask the staff in Not & Bok (or e-mail notbok.kms@kmh.se) if you have forgotten which e-mail you have given KMS.
