A final reminder about PRISMA 2023 registration, which closes on Tuesday, February 28. Our two-week program (June 12-24) bridges the education students receive at a university/conservatory and the professional life of an orchestra musician – all in a stunning seaside location on Canada’s west coast. If you have any questions about our program, we encourage you to reach out. |
DID YOU KNOW? Substantial full and partial scholarships are available. Last year, PRISMA awarded over $65,000 to 57 students through our Musical Merit Fund. |
All students will perform in the PRISMA Festival Orchestra conducted by Arthur Arnold, former Music Director & Conductor of the Moscow Symphony Orchestra. Two symphony programs provide players with a broad experience in orchestral playing and musical interpretation. The 2023 repertoire* will include: • Brahms – Symphony No. 2• Mahler – Symphony No. 1• Stravinsky – Pulcinella Suite• Dvořák – Cello Concerto Op. 104 (Henry Shapard, cello)• Debussy – Dances sacrée et profane * repertoire subject to change |
