Föreställningen ”Bernardas Hus” som sätts upp av Teater norra, är en pjäs av Federico Garcia Lorca, med premiär 16/11 på Ö2, Östgötagatan 2. Det är 8 föreställningar och spelperioden är 16-24 november.

Fem inlåsta systrar på väg mot undergång – Teater norra sätter upp Federico Garcia Lorcas klassiska familjedrama Bernardas Hus. En högaktuell uppsättning om makt, tradition, familj och förtryck.
Bernardas hus är Federico Garcia Lorcas sista pjäs, färdigskriven endast några månader innan han mördades av Francoanhängare. Pjäsen ses ofta som en symbol för det dåtida fascistiska Spanien.

Auditions for classical singers to Vadstena-Akademien

Information
Vadstena-Akademien invites applications from young classical singers of all voice categories for the summer of 2019 & 2020. In 2019 we will produce an opera by Georg Philipp Telemann and in 2020 we will produce a new opera in Swedish by composer Tebogo Monnakgotla and librettist Kerstin Perski.
To apply you should have already begun an advanced course of study in voice,
or have equivalent experience, and be born 1984 or later.
Preparation
The jury would like you to prepare a total of 2-3 arias depending of which
production/productions you audition for:

One aria and recitativo by Telemann from the arias chosen by Vadstena Akademien.
The music material will be delivered from Vadstena-Akademien when you are accepted to an audition.

Voice categories: Soprano(s), mezzo/counter, tenor, baritone, bass.

Soloists and chorus.

Harpsichord a1=415 Hz
-
An aria of your own choice preferably from the baroque or classic repertoire

Piano a1=442 Hz
-
If you apply for the opera in 2020 you should also prepare an aria from the modern repertoire, in Swedish.

EU research study on migration
”Calling all international students! Invitation to participate in EU research study on migration!
As part of the EU-funded REMINDER research project (Role of European Mobility and its Impacts in Narratives, Debates and EU Reforms, https://www.reminder-project.eu/), researchers at Maastricht University are seeking to provide a better understanding of what motivates people to migrate within the EU. Student migrants are one of the key migrant profiles we are interested in representing in the research. If you have moved to Sweden in the last ten years (from any EU or non-EU country), and were at least 18 years old when you moved here, we would be very interested in speaking to you about your past and future migration decisions.
