I am getting in touch from the Irish Association of Youth Orchestras to ask if you could please share information on our Orchestral Conducting Workshops with any staff or students who may be interested!

Dates: 06 July – 10 July 2026

Venue: MTU Cork School of Music, Cork, Ireland
Fees: €400 for active participants, €250 for observers
Meals and accommodation are not provided as part of the fee.

Applications are now open to conductors of youth orchestras, amateur orchestras, bands, music teachers and music students from Ireland and internationally. The course is a wonderful opportunity for participants and observers to learn about the art of conducting. Under the expert guidance of the course Directors, participant young conductors will develop their style of interpretation, communication and leadership. Observer applications are also welcome.
