We would like to invite young music composers aged 16-30 and resident in Europe to take part in the new edition of the Leonardo 4 Music Awards 2025: Climate, Equality & Peace.
They are invited to compose an original music on the topics of climate, equality or peace, inspired by: Leonardo da Vinci, previous winners of Leonardo 4 Children Awards, or by a movie or by a story/poem on these topics.
The winner will be offered the opportunity to use her/his music for a promotional campaign by an international organisation or NGO, and the first two winners will receive a talent development budget of up to € 750 and have the opportunity to meet the members of the jury, composed of amazing musicians: Anastasiya Petryshak (co-chair), Augustin Dumay (co-chair), Gisella Cosi, Stefano Cucci, Carmine Padula, Jovanka Visekruna, Erika Zoi, Chantal Balestri.
We are proud to announce that this year for our Special Awards we are offerings partnered opportunities with :
– Masterclass with top violinist Augustin Dumay.
– The Lunigiana International Music Festival: the winners will be automatically admitted to the Contemporary music Program LIMF in July in Tuscany.
– The ArtLink Belgrade Festival : the music of the winners will be played at ArtLink Festival or other events organised by ArtLink Belgrade.
– Music score online publication – partner J.K. Mertz Edition : the scores of the music by the winners will be published in digital format by J.K. Mertz Edition.
– Best female composer – partner Erika Zoi : the winner will receive a specific workshop in Rome by Erika Zoi, Italian composer and pianist and one of the best female composer.
– Choir composition – partner Rusca family : special Award of 300€
