Dear Sir/Madam,

We are Sar Sargsyan Cultural Entertainment, organizers of the Vistula Sounds International Vocal Festival & Competition in Ciechocinek, Poland. This year, on 13-17 August 2024, we are holding the 3rd edition of the event and would like to invite international contestants to the event.

The venue of the Vistula Sounds is the beautiful Polish mineral spa city of Ciechocinek with its many historic buildings and spa facilities, including the historic salt graduation towers, a one of a kind attraction in Europe and the world. The main music venues include the historic Summer Theatre, the Park Shell, and a specially erected stage on the banks of the Vistula River.

The Vistula Sounds combines different aspects of music, education, entertainment, and cultural exchange. We are holding 2 song contests (international and Polish), 3 concerts, 2 masterclasses delivered by international judges, 2 cultural exchange meetings, and 3 local and regional trips promoting the city of Ciechocinek and the Kuyavia region in Poland. The Vistula Sounds is not a commercial venture – the goal is to promote Poland and its cultural heritage and traditions among the younger generations of Polish and international contestants and guests.

Applications for the 3rd Vistula Sounds International Festival will open on January 1, 2024 and close on May 1. Please note that all details concerning the festival are available from the “Vistula Sounds” tab at www.ce.sarsargsyan.com, and this is also where the willing contestants will find the application form. We wish to extend this special invitation to our potential foreign contestants: although one is not required to apply for both song contests, we would like to encourage contestants to apply for the Polish song contest, too. We will be happy to assist with the selection of repertoire, lyrics, etc.

The festival is held under the honorary patronage of the Voivode and the Marshal of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, as well as the Mayor of Ciechocinek. The internationally acclaimed judges include the First Lady of the Polish Music Scene, Ms. Grazyna Brodzinska, but also other Polish and international music and vocal authorities: stars, singers, musicians, and vocal coaches.
