Dear pianist and music lover!
We warmly invite you to participate in the 2nd edition of the Northern Lights International Piano Festival. It will be held from 1 to 20 May, 2023.
To this online festival and competition, we invite all classical pianists and piano enthusiasts around the world to apply to our 9 age categories + Nordic citizens class, as well as 26 repertoire categories. There is a category for each and everyone, and you can apply to as many categories as you want!
Deadline for applications: 20 April, 2023.
Advanced players, young pupils, amateurs, all are welcome to apply!
- Each participant will get at diploma of participation.
- Every video will get feedback from our international jury

Prepare your repertoire, record it and send it to our professional jury for review. Those who the jury deem to have special talent or possibilities will receive prize diplomas or special mentions and have the possibility to be published on our YouTube-channel, our website as well as different social media platforms.
In addition, we have introduced several Cash Prizes for this edition, distributed at the end of the festival to a chosen number of the best players in the whole festival (both repertoire and performance categories).
Teachers who have 10 or more students participating in the Festival will receive an Outstanding Teacher’s Award. Pianists who apply to 3 or more classes will be eligible for a special achievement prize.
