The next competition will have the finals on February 24, 2024. It is Nordic and invites young opera singers in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. Last application date is May 31, 2023. Digital semifinals will be held in september 2023, and the final concert for five finalists will take place on February 24, 2024, at the Tonhallen concert hall, Sundsvall, together with the Nordic Chamber Orchestra. The winner will be awarded with SEK 50 000 and the second prize winner with SEK 25 000. Hjördis Schymberg was one of the best known and most recognised Swedish opera singers. |
