My name is Antonio Ceravolo, and I am the Principal Timpanist at the Croatian National Theatre Ivan Zajc (HNK Ivan Zajc) in Rijeka, Croatia.

​I am writing to you because our Timpani and Percussion section is very interested in welcoming students from your institution for Erasmus+ Traineeships (Work Placements).

​We have already had excellent experiences hosting Erasmus students in the past and found it to be a mutually enriching opportunity. We are eager to continue this tradition by opening our doors to talented percussion students who wish to gain high-level professional experience.

​During their traineeship with us, students will have the unique opportunity to:

​Perform alongside a professional orchestra: They will be integrated into our section for upcoming productions.

​Tackle a major repertoire: Our season includes significant symphonic concerts and opera productions.

​Work with world-class artists: We regularly collaborate with internationally renowned conductors and soloists.

​Receive professional mentorship: Students will have constant, direct contact with professional musicians, gaining insight into the daily life and discipline of an orchestra player.

​We believe this creates an ideal bridge between academic study and the professional world.
