The 2026 call for applications for the Sophie Germain research residency from the Institut français de Suède and French Embassy to Sweden is now open!

The call is open until February 2, 2026, at 23:59.

This programme is open to PhD students and holders of a PhD degree, conducting research in a Swedish institution (university, research institute from the public or private sector).

The laureate will receive a 15,000 Swedish Kronor grant and a room for a one-month period in the Swedish Students’ House of the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris. The one-month stay must be scheduled between June 1 and August 31, 2026.

All research fields, including human and social sciences, are eligible for this call.
