Dear ladies and gentlemen,

Next summer, as every year, the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival will offer aspiring orchestra musicians from all over the world the opportunity to become members of the international Festival Orchestra on a scholarship basis.
In 2026, exciting works such as Richard Strauss’s “Thus Spoke Zarathustra,” Beethoven’s 5th Symphony, the Peer Gynt Suite, Dvorák’s 9th Symphony, and Harold in Italy by Hector Berlioz await the young, international ensemble. This year’s conductors include Teddy Abrams, Andrew Manze, Stefan Geiger, Oksana Lyniv, and principal conductor Christoph Eschenbach.Chamber music will play a major role this year again, rehearsed by our proven team of teachers. The program will also be complemented by educational projects such as a family concert conducted by Holly Choe.
