International Conducting Competition 2026 in Liechtenstein

We are pleased to introduce to you the 1. International Conducting Competition Liechtenstein 2026 for your students and alumni. This conducting competition features a novel concept, giving young conductors the opportunity to present themselves before and with three internationally renowned conductors (including Anu Tali, Uros Lajovic, and others), two concertmasters (including the former 1st Concertmaster of the Berlin Philharmonic), and three soloists (including winners of the ARD Competition, the New York Piano Competition, and the Paganini Competition).

The winner will receive a prize of 30,000 CHF and an invitation to conduct a concert with the Sinfonieorchester Liechtenstein in the upcoming season.

The competition rounds include score reading, chamber orchestra conducting, and conducting a symphony orchestra with and without soloists. The age limit is 32 years.

The competition will take place from June 25 to 29, 2026, in Vaduz, Liechtenstein. Detailed information about the competition, repertoire, jury, and application procedure can be found at www.musiccompetition.li. Participation is open to all nationalities.
