For Singers, Stage Managers, Répétiteurs, Stage Directors, Composers, and Conductors
This program offers skill building and practical experience for singers, stage managers, répétiteurs, stage directors, composers, and conductors. Participants will workshop new operas at various stages of development, collaborating directly with composers, librettists, and directors in a dynamic creative process.
Alongside the workshop experience, the program features masterclasses, coaching, seminars, mentorship, networking opportunities, and performances. These elements are designed to strengthen technical skills, deepen artistic practice, and foster the professional resilience needed for a sustainable career in opera.

Interdisciplinary Residency for Musicians
Fuse is a residency for the curious, who want to expand their artistic practice. Supported by collaborative mentors and an environment that encourages creative play, this program encourages musicians and ensembles to experiment, create, research, and grow in Banff Centre’s unrivalled mountain environment.
Performers will collaborate on a large-scale project while also having the opportunity to form smaller ensembles to explore additional artistic expressions.
We invite musicians, singers, conductors, and concert experience creators working in Classical, Jazz, Electronic, and related disciplines to apply.
