ROSL Annual Music Competition returns for 2026

Royal Over-Seas League’s International Annual Music Competition is accepting applications for the 2026 competition.

Now in its 74th year, the Royal Over-Seas League’s internationally renowned Music Competition awards up to £80,000 annually, with ongoing career support for its prizewinners. Our outstanding and unparalleled programmes offer our competition prizewinners, an artistic home with experienced mentorship and advice, networking, promotional support and concert opportunities around the world.

Previous winners include Jacqueline Du Pre, Melvyn Tan, Piers Lane, Paul Lewis, Sean Shibe, Lucy Crowe, and Abel Selaocoe.

The age limit for all competitors is 30. The nationality entry requirements were widened three years ago, and we now accept applications from musicians from the USA, EU, EEA, Switzerland, Japan and the Republic of Korea as well as Commonwealth and former Commonwealth nationalities.
