Until 2022, it was held in Schwerin under the auspices of Jeunesses Musicales Deutschland – Landesverband MV e.V. Following its reorientation, it will be organised for the first time in 2026 by the hmt Rostock, together with the Lübeck University of Music, the Mecklenburg State Theatre and the Schwerin Conservatory.
