| Applications for Classic Cello International Competition 2026 are now open! We are announcing a groundbreaking opportunity for musicians that has just been launched – an international cello competition entitled Classic Cellothat will be taking place at the Royal College of Music in London from the 26th of March to the 6th April 2026, marking one of the biggest standalone cello contests that the city has ever seen. Helmed by Artistic Director Alexander Chaushian, this event is designed to celebrate and inspire the next generation of musicians, showcasing 40 outstanding cellists under the age of 40 from across the globe. The competition features three rounds, including a grand finale with the Philharmonia Orchestra, London, and offers prizes totalling over €130,000, with an 11-member jury panel:  We believe that Classic Cello provides the perfect opportunity for cellists all over the globe, and would like to ask your assistance in helping us reach out to as wide a cohort as possible by sharing the details of this event amongst your students and wider community, as well as on your official social platforms.
