I would like to draw your attention to the “Himara International Music Festival Masterclasses 2025” and ask you to pass this information on.

Since 2022 the Himara International Music Festival is taking place every August in Himara, a small town rich in culture and tradition in southern Albania. Top musicians of different music genres from around the world come to perform at the festival and transform it into an international meeting point of enthusiastic music making. 

In this year we are starting as part of the festival a masterclass for cellists and chamber music ensembles under the direction of the outstanding cellist and teacher, Ildikó Szabó. The course will take place from 22^th until 24^th of August 2025 and in addition to the lessons, the students will have the possibility to perform at concerts during the week of the festival. 

The cultural heritage and the summer atmosphere of Himara create an inspiring atmosphere for building a high-level factory for the development of young musicians and we will warmly welcome you to join us this summer.
