Dear partner institutes and fellow jazz departments,

This summer between 23 – 27 June, the Conservatorium van Amsterdam is organizing the yearly Keep an Eye Summer Jazz Workshop in collaboration with the Keep an Eye Foundation. 

This 5-day workshop is designed for both professionals and students from around the world. It is an exceptional opportunity for students to enhance their abilities in jazz and improvisation, engage in valuable networking, and immerse themselves in a dynamic learning environment at one of Europe’s leading jazz institutions. This year’s outstanding faculty will consist of Anat Cohen, Lage Lund, Gerald Clayton, Kendrick Scott and many more. 
 
Until May 30, young musicians have the opportunity to apply. We hope you will consider sharing the Summer Jazz Workshop among your students that might be interested in participating! 

What to expect 

·                 Daily Combo & Improvisation Classes: Participate in intensive sessions that focus on ensemble playing and improvisation techniques, allowing you to refine your performance skills and creativity 

·                 Instrument Masterclasses: Benefit from both group and individual masterclasses tailored to your specific instrument. 

·                 Electives and Evening Activities: Choose from a range of elective courses to further diversify your learning experience. In the evenings, enjoy concerts and jam sessions, offering you the chance to perform and collaborate with fellow musicians in a relaxed setting.

·                 The Summer Jazz Workshop is taking place between 23 – 27 June 2025 

·                 The fee for the full five days is € 650, -*, excluding travel, accommodation and meals. *Workshop value is 950, -.
