We’re hereby inviting you to the 7th Oskar Nedbal International Viola Competition Prague 2025, open for all solo violists aged max. 30 years (incl).

The event will be in October 23 – 26, 2025 at the Prague Conservatory, Dvořákovo nábřeží 2, Prague, Czech Republic.

The deadline for on-line application is July 2nd, 2025. Also this year we will have three rounds competition. 1st round will be completed via videorecording, 2nd and 3rd round will be live in Prague. The final round will be together with a chamber orchestra.

For second round competitors we have great opportunity to join a Masterclass with our jury members. It will be the day after the second round. 

 Among financial prizes, laureates will receive a fine bow from Luboš Odlas, viola case by GEWA, Perpetual strings by Pirastro, paid concerts and other special prizes
