Les Arts Florissants – William Christie Foundation offers “masterclasses” on its campus in Thiré (Vendée, France) for professionals, students in a higher education establishment or in a pre-professional course, under the direction of professionals and teachers from Les Arts Florissants.

A new masterclass will be led from May 19^th to 21st by Thomas Dunford, a loyal lutenist of Les Arts Florissants, who invites invites singers and instrumentalists to focus on the work of plucked string instruments and continuo. Improvisation will be explored, as well the interpretation of Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas.
