 Dear Colleagues, CALL to apply for the International Klaipėda David Geringas Violoncello Competition, which will be held from 5 to 10 May 2025. The competition is open for professional musicians and cello students of all nationalities. The Competition will be held in four age categories. Junior category: Group A – up to 10 years of age on the first day of the competition (born after 5 May 2015); Group B – up to 14 years of age on the first day of the competition (born after 5 May 2011); Group C – up to 18 years of age on the first day of the competition (born after 5 May 2007). Professional category has one age group: Group D – up to 30 years of age (born after 5 May 1995). TOTAL PRIZE FUND: 28 000 EUR Application deadline: 31 March 2025.
