On behalf of the team of the
International Competition for Young Pianists
«Merci, Maestro!»
we would like to invite your students to participate in the
9th edition of our Competition
that will take place on
April 09-13th, 2025 in Brussels (Belgium)
and will be closed with a Gala Concert on April 13th, 2025. This prestigious event will be taking place in the breath-taking Gothic room of the Brussels Town Hall, Grand Place of Brussels.
International Piano Competition“Merci, Maestro!” is open to young pianists from all around the world.
There are 6 categories:
- Category A: for candidates younger than or equal to 10 years old
- Category B: for candidates from 11 to 13 years old
- Category C: for candidates from 14 to 16 years old
- Category D: for candidates from 17 to 19 years old
- Category E: for candidates from 20 to 22 years old
- Category F: for candidates from 23 to 25 years old
The Competition consists of:
- Pre-selection round (via video recording) March 2025
- First round (live performance) 9-11 April 2025
- Final round (live performance) 11-12 April 2025
- Gala concert (live performance & distribution of the prizes) April 13th, 2025
We provide cash prizes in each category as well as special prizes:
- Prizes to youngest promising participant in each category
- Special diplomas
- Part of the scholarships to take part in the festival & master classes International Music Academy “FORTE” with world famous musicians
- Special prizes: participation in several workshops, concerts and festivals in Europe
