 Dear Colleagues, Do not miss the chance to participate in the VII International Jascha Heifetz Competition for Violinists! 14-22 February 2025, Vilnius, Lithuania.Application deadline: 1 January 2025. Total prize fund – 30 000 EUR Concert prizes & engagements;The Competition is open to violinists of all nationalities who were born on 1998 02 02 and later. The competition consists of 3 rounds: 1st round and 2nd round will take place at the Great Hall of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. The final round will be accompanied by the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, which will be led by the principal conductor maestro Modestas Pitrėnas, and will take place at the Lithuanian National Philharmonic Society. The Opening Concert on 14 February will feature Javier Comesaña (the previous competition’s 1st prize winner)Dmytro Udovychenko (winner of the Queen Elisabeth Competition and 2nd prize winner of J. Heifetz Competition).
