| Composers of any nationality are invited to submit. There will be three composers selected. The selected composers will receive a commission from Euskal Herriko Txistulari Elkartea. A commission fee of 2.000€ for the composition of a new work for a small ensemble proposed by the jury (no more than 6 musicians including minimum 1 txistu player). A commision fee of 1.500€ for the composition of a new work for a small ensemble proposed by the jury (no more than 4 musicians including mínimum 1 txistu player). A commision fee of 1.500€ for the composition of a new work for Trio Zukan (txistu, accordion and percussion). This commission is sponsored by Trio Zukan. RULES Only one entry per composer is permitted. There is no application fee. All materials must be sent by email to konposiziolehiaketa@txistulari.eus no later than September 30, 2024. Applications received after the deadline, or incomplete applications, will not be considered. Submitted scores must be in .pdf format. Submitted recordings must be in .mp3/wav/aiff format. If the total size of all files exceeds 10MB, please use cloud services. The selected composers must be available to attend the commision, and create a new work before June 30, 2024.
