| Over the course of its 50 years of existence, marked by the arrival of the greatest artist-professors, the Académie Ravel has accompanied several generations of young musicians who are now at the top. It is now an integral part of the new Festival Ravel project, a major event in the French and international musical calendar. The 54th session of the Académie Ravel will be held from 17 to 31 August 2024 in Saint-Jean-de-Luz and Ciboure, in the Basque country, in the composer’s native land. There will be classes in piano, violin, viola, cello, chamber music, voice and composition – all led by a team of prestigious teaching artists and under Bertrand Chamayou’s artistic direction.
