| DON’T DELAY, THE DEADLINE IS APPROACHING! There’s still time to register for the 85th edition of the OSM Competition dedicated to woodwinds and brass. We remind you that young performers aged 16 to 25 have until May 23, 2024, at 11:59 PM (EDT) to submit their application for the most prestigious national classical music competition. The Competition is a springboard for young Canadian artists aspiring to international careers. Thanks to the generosity of donors and partners, close to $100,000 is awarded in prizes, scholarships, training programs and performance opportunities. APPLY NOW! March 13 to May 23, 2024: Registration period and recording of the preliminary round. June 2024: Evaluation of applications and selection of the semifinalists. July 2024: Announcement of the preliminary round results. Week of November 4, 2024: Semifinal rounds and training activities for the semifinalists. November 9, 2024: Final round and announcement of the First Prize* winner of the 2024 OSM Competition, who will be granted the $20,000 Barbara Bronfman Prize. |
