This year’s Study Tour residency offers a diverse range of topics, activities and a wealth of professionals. Over the course of seven days, participants will take part in seminars, courses, reading sessions and discussions led by Study Tour resident mentors, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐞̇-𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢 and 𝐃𝐫. 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐬, and guest lecturers including:

musicologist, critic, and host of cultural programs 𝐉𝐮̄𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞̇ 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐞̇,

music pedagogue and therapist, manager of the studio ”Muzikutis” 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲𝐧𝐚 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐞̇,

director, actress, singer 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐁𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐲𝐭𝐞̇,

𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐣𝐚 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜̌𝐤𝐲𝐭𝐞̇, member of the Council of the European Choir Association and head of the Kaunas Academic Youth Choir and VšĮ Cantates,

conductor of the choir ”Polifonija”, artistic director of ensemble ”Duodeco” and other choirs 𝐏𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐬 𝐕𝐚𝐧𝐳̌𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐬,

𝐍𝐢𝐣𝐨𝐥𝐞̇ 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐞̇, leader of the state choir ”Polifonija” and others.

The Study Tour participants will have the opportunity to learn about the work of composer Gintautas Venislovas for the choir and the traditions of the concert organization ”Polifonija.” There will be a presentation of EAC activities. Participants will delve into the peculiarities of working with ensembles, younger children and participate in workshops on conducting techniques, singing exercises, and reading sessions. They will also learn about the aspects of writing reviews and participate in the discussion ”Among us, musicologists.” The participants will get to know the flamenco genre. They will observe rehearsals and concerts of the festival concerts and analyse them. Additionally, they will participate in the scientific conference ”Religious music: art, science, practice” and celebrate the RESURREXIT festival together.
