We are pleased to share with you the call for applications for the 2024 edition of the Hector Berlioz European Youth Orchestra – Isère (JOEHB), which concerns the following instruments: violin, viola, cello, double bass, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn, trumpet, trombone, harp and percussion.

The JOEHB-Isère, orchestra-academy of the Festival Berlioz, offers excellent training in orchestral music and practice on period instruments. The academy is directed by internationally renowned conductor François-Xavier Roth and supervised by musicians from the Les Siècles orchestra.

In 2024, the JOEHB-Isère is offering an exceptional program based on the music of Maurice Ravel, Les Siècles’ preferred repertoire, and on late 19th – early 20th century French instruments loaned by the orchestra:

H. Berlioz Ouverture des Francs-Juges

M. Ravel Alborada del Gracioso; Rapsodie Espagnole; Bolero

C. Saint-Saëns Violin Concerto No. 3

Session 2024: July 3-4 in the Paris region and August 16-20 at La Côte-Saint-André, (France)
